Say “I do” in paradise what could be more unique and romantic? Make your dreams come true with a legal or traditional wedding ceremony on their islands.
French Polynesia has been conducting legal weddings for overseas visitors since 2010. Couples love the majestic Papeete City Hall, a replica of the former Queen’s palace, the perfect setting for your legal marriage. After the civil union, experience the ultimate traditional and colorful wedding during your stay in Moorea or Bora Bora. A Tahitian priest will bless your union to the sound of traditional instruments and songs while the dancers’ colorful costumes bring the Maohi rhythms to life. They have selected for you various services with idyllic settings:
In Moorea, the islet Maiau Beach Garden invites you to Nature:
The elegance of Polynesian culture, feel the beating heart of Polynesia in this hidden paradise and seal your union in a natural setting. Each service is a privileged moment of new experiences and well-being: a private outrigger canoe trip to explore the treasures of the lagoon of Moorea in the morning, a full-day with a refined and tasty seafood lunch (lobster, coconut crab etc.) or a sunset for an explosion of heavenly colors announcing the arrival of a beautifully romantic evening.
Still in Moorea, Fenua Mata’i’oa, a world apart:
Sophistication, intimacy, tradition, travel, art, exotic, flowers, this little gem is impossible to describe in just a few words. Are you in one of the Old World explorers’ shelters? Or in one of a royal court Lady’s apartments; It’s hard to tell.so just immerse yourself in the Mana spirit of the setting. One thing is for sure: you will not forget a place like this! The daytime wedding ceremony can be combined with a night in a Suite with dinner and breakfast. We recommend you book the latter, as once you get here; you do not want to leave!
Bora Bora the Magnificent:
Specialists in traditional weddings on the island, Maohi Nui has been providing traditional Polynesian services since 2001. From the simplest to the most elaborate ceremony, you can choose between a celebration on board a traditional outrigger canoe on the beautiful blue lagoon or on a beautiful islet of fine sand with the magical silhouette of Mont Otemanu in the background.
Last but not least, Tupai, the heart of Polynesia:
To an exceptional wedding, an exceptional day, from your hotel in Bora Bora or Tahaa, hop on board a helicopter and seal your union in a unique place, free of artifice, with a purity of colors that only Mother Nature can offer: Tupai, one of 5 heart-shaped atolls in the world. Red carpet as you descend from the helicopter, exchange your vows in complete privacy on a beach of fine sand with just the turquoise lagoon and the shade of the coconut palms as witnesses.

Tahitian Weddings

Celebrate one of the most beautiful days of your life in Tahiti, one of the most romantic and beautiful places in the world. You can choose from a legally recognized civil wedding ceremony in Tahiti, Moorea or Bora Bora City Hall or a Traditional Polynesian ceremony which varies by resort. The bride and groom are married by a Tahitian priest in a re-enactment of an ancient ceremony. Vows are exchanged to the songs and dances of local villagers and for an even more royal wedding; the groom arrives in a canoe. Tahitian dances, a romantic lagoon cruise with musicians and champagne add the finishing touch.
Civil Weddings include:
• Administrative paperwork
• Round trip private transfers
• Flower lei for bride & groom
• Interpreter during ceremony
• Wedding certificate

Most Famous Tropical Island in the World

Bora Bora is one of nature's most inspired creations with a lagoon resembling an artist's palette of blues and greens. Dominated by two magnificent peaks, Pahia and Otemanu, it has an impressive backdrop of a majestic multi-colored lagoon which many consider the most beautiful in the world.
Seen from the air, Bora Bora has been compared to that of a tiny emerald in a setting turquoise, encircled by a sheltering necklace of sparkling pearls. Life here is casual and relaxed; a place of dramatic beauty, warm waters, and gentle climate. For many travelers, the colorful and majestic setting of Bora Bora offers unlimited possibilities.
Honeymooners and romantics from around the world have laid claim to Bora Bora. From the extraordinary scenery to the privacy and amenities of the overwater bungalows, it is unquestionably the most romantic of the Pacific islands.

An Event to Remember at Four Seasons Bora Bora

The event space at Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora has our attention as the next “it” for events gone barefoot luxury.
Start with the resort’s open-air pavilion, Otemanu, which offers 1,226 square feet of space (the perfect size for a party for you and 100 of your closest friends). The pavilion lies under a 25-foot pandanus dome with its own adjacent private beach, completely separate from the resort’s other activities. Talk about exclusive! We love that the area is customizable based on guests’ needs (think beach barbecue, a fire dancing show or a sumptuous meal, all at the water’s edge).
